New Parish Website

Welcome to the new Star of the Sea Parish website. This project was begun in February of 2024 and has taken almost six months to produce. Much thanks is owed on the part of the parish to HughWarner Media who took the beautiful photos of our church facilities and helped design and format the website.

This website was designed to serve a number of different functions which are clearly outlined by the headings in the navigation bar.

About Us

Provides information about the parish team that supports the daily running and mission of the parish as well as information on our churches, operating hours, parish bulletins, latest news and upcoming events, the membership of our finance and parish councils along with providing the church rosters for our various ministries (password protected).

Liturgy

The Liturgy page provides information on parish mass times, the parish sacramental program including information on booking weddings, baptisms and funerals as well as further general information on the liturgical life of the parish.

On this page you will find information on how to contribute to the life of the parish. The first section titled Groups & Ministries provides information on the various social and outreach groups operating within the parish along with the various liturgical ministries that parishioners can be involved within in the life of the parish.

The second section provides three ways of making financial contributions to the parish and a bequest clause for those who may be contemplating a contribution to the parish in their will.

Hire

Star of the Sea Parish has many facilities available for hire which are all outlined on this section of the website.

Contact

Provides information on how to contact the parish.

This website has been produce not simply to convey information but rather to amplify the life of the parish. We need your assistance to make it better, more intuitive, useful and user friendly. If you have any suggestion about how we could make it better please contact the parish office.

We do hope you enjoy the parish website and we look forward having you join us in person throughout our parish communities.
